The Abingdon Feeder Cattle Associationwill offer approximately 1,300 Virginia Quality Assured (VQA) feeder calves on the Virginia Cattlemen's Tel-O-Auction on August 21st at 6:00 pm. Calves will be sold as tractor-trailer load lots (47,000 to 50,000#'s). Several loads available with narrow weight spreads (50 - 60#'s).
Calves are predominantly Angus bred. A typical load consists of 95% black and black-white face and 5% Charolais crosses (with no purebred / "pink nose included).
All of the calves are:
Weaned 45+ Days
Feed and water trough broken
Vaccinated according to product label directions for 7-way Clostridials, Modified-live viruses (IBR, PI3, BRSV, BVD I & II) and Pasteurella. Calves also dewormed.
